I just got Planetside 2 beta access. anyone else? i need someone to play with that i know.

I got the beta like 4 weeks back...it does not run well on lower end PCs so I kinda lost interest

The concept and gameplay is sound, though, I could see that even at 9 FPS

yeah, i get the infamous G25 error apperently......

I have no beta, but I'm looking forwards to it.

Played a little Planetside 1, got blow'd up, loved it, so I'll try PS2.

yeah, i signed up like 4 months ago, and i finally got access. now me and my brother can play it, (buddy code FTW!)i just wanted some more guys so we can teamspeak.

I have the shortcut sitting right on my desktop...but even on the lowest settings it's all but unplayable..sorry

Being an arse aside, it's a strategic FPS on a grand, MMO scale, and happens to be 100% F2P to boot. Well, not 100%, but the dev's view of what they have planned is pretty much the framework on which all play4free titles should ideally operate on.

Anyway, basically we have the equivalents of the Galactic Empire, Protoss, and Rebel Alliance waging war over apparently the only continent on the planet. It's subdivided into 'sectors' of sorts, which enables SOE's servers to pretty much render EVERYTHING realtime. Want to go over there and shoot some s**t up? Go ahead, we won't stop you! Basically, everywhere is accessible and it's all balanced in such a way that every bloody square kilometer has gameplay value.

In other words, it's probably the best strategic shooter game to grace the Earth with its presence, provided you have the PC to run it.

multple continents now. they added an ic on. th nxt on has water, bt that's hard to implement in this kind of game.

I got beta access a month back but haven't played it in awhile. Although I love the game to guns are way to clunky and don't feel right (Well beta is beta). The game runs quite well on my gaming laptop but the textures need to get some work. Other than that, TR FOR LIFE!

Sounds pretty cool, except somehow I doubt a 4-year old Mac desktop will be able to run it.

I got the beta access like a day ago. But I can't launch it, because of the infamous G-25 error. It crashes on launch.

If you can provide more help that hours of interwebz searching, yay.

I gave my buddy code to my friend, and I hate him because he has the same system, the VERY same, and it runs fine.

contact ttech. i did, and they are awesome. the only problem is that i am unable to play it on MY computer...... g25 either means that you need to update you video crad, or that you have a computer too old to run it, like mine.(mine has integrated graphics and a dual intel core)

Lol. I have ATi Radeon HD 4200. If it can run SC2, it can run Planetside 2. Video card is completely up to date.

Better start saving up. For both a Power Supply and a new graphics card... for power supply is at 250 watts.

I bought into the Beta just because I loved BF2142 and it looked like it might be similar game. Played all of 3 hours (which is a long time for me with my current schedule) and this game is pretty cool. Ran it on Mid GFX on a 4800HD just fine, still when the full version comes out I might drop the 150 or so on a new GFX card and move up the 6000 series.

was thinking this one might be a nice card to get the job done without breaking my bank in half, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102908. But then again if I'm too busy to play, whats the point of buying a new video card lol.
