| Ummm, what? I saw a boat, a plane, another plane, and a pelican in a halo 1 like map.
What is Blockland? | |

| Used to play it, but there are no stable servers, ergo, no reason to even bother trying to build seeing as it's so complicated. Half the admins have poles up their rectums as well.
Hyper, think a LEGO game with building and scripting in such.
It is kinda fun designing adventure maps like DeathRun and such with the tools available, but there isn't much beyond that save for participating in the meager selection of servers that may or may not be up the next day.

Do you mean LEGO Universe? I thought he meant Roblox. LEGO Universe was more action-rpg then building, especially with the whole approval process by LEGO.

I recommend to NOT download it.

Minecraft isn't LEGOs. Just identical blocks with different textures.

A true LEGO simulator would be like Blockland or Roblox, with their LEGO-esque pieces. The only way you could call Minecraft even vaguely similar to LEGOs is through the creative nature both foster in their users.

Although I did once give a presentation about LEGOs and have some whack in the audience ask, in all seriousness, why anyone would buy LEGOs when they could just build the vehicle in Minecraft instead.

| I just downloaded and tediously dug through my old email to find the activation key again.
It's much funner then I remember, a powerful script tool and more genuine combat, however the building is not as intuitive as Minecraft's.

| No, minceraft's building is so..... Simple. Thats why it became so popular so quickly, because it is simple and because it is easy to make a Youtube video of. | |

| Indeed. I do find Minecraft similar to Lego in concept. The one thing I like about Minecraft that I prefer over Lego is that when building large things out of Lego, the pieces tend to get misaligned, and they don't connect properly. And another thing: http://www.buildwithchrome.com/static/map#This looks closer to an online Lego game to me. | |

| Blockland was originally going to be bought by LEGO as a commercial game, it has all the parts. It looks a bit different now because the creator, Badspot, had to make some aesthetic alterations after the deal failed to avoid a lawsuit. | |
