so i've decided (with the help of the futurecraft community) that i need to form a completely new ship building... ummm thing.
I am scrapping many old projects but still keeping them uploaded and available for viewing. all new ships (and old) will be based off of a modified version of Tarran Trade Confed (hope i spelled that right) ship sizing. Some ships classes will be renamed. Also i am keeping the following ships, vehicles, ect.
The Night Terror (Class will be renamed)
The Crow Light Assault Frigate (class will be renamed)
All ground vehicles
All turrets
All fighters (minus the B-5)
I am hoping that this will be a great opportunity to create a new line of ships (That are more to size) and a new... ummm i'm stuck again just put it in yourself
Technology Highlights
High Powered Canons: Even though it may seem like primitive technology to some empires and factions they provide a lot of potential and versatility. Take for instance a standard high powered coil gun, it is a very surprisingly small compact cannon for something that packs such a punch. Also, they don't just fire plain old explosive shells some fire things like emp, thermal, and plasma. (Types of cannons involve, Railguns, Coilguns, Powder Cannons, and Sling Cannons (more about these cannons below))
Railgun

Coilgun
- Spoiler:
Powder Cannons (PC's)
- Spoiler:
Much like the guns of the old ages, these cannons use and explosive powder that propels the projectile at high speeds. (not very fast compared to other cannons). PC's are very cheap and easy to make making them very accessible. However they are very weak often ineffective.
Sling Cannons (SC's)
- Spoiler:
A cannon based off of this simple mechanism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sling_(weapon)This cannon is surprisingly powerful and efficient, it does take a few second to ready and fire but the kinetic energy produced is catastrophic. SC's are slightly lower than average in cost (average being a standard coil cannon) which makes them fairly common. they don't have any drawbacks besides they are easier to damage than other cannons
