So, I have ideas, but I dont want a seperate section for each of them, so this is the end result. If any of these ideas are going to be implimented or have already been said, alert me and I will remove them ASAP. TBA means To Be Added, for anyone who doesnt know.

A radar-like ship detector that you can only avoid detection by through shutting down all systems, including the ship core. Would most likely be an option in the GUI for the command chair.

Laser dispensers-When a laser pistol(Assuming they are added) is placed in a dispenser, the dispenser shoots lasers. These lasers do 2 hearts of regular damage, and 1/2 hearts of vehichal damage. The laser lasts for 64 shots.
Night vision goggles
Flamethrower(TBA)
Flags(TBA)
Trackers, can be thrown on a person, ship, ect, and when looking at the map on the ship, shows up as something like Tracker001, and gives coordinates and server FTL drive address thing.
More space-y paintings, such as the enterprise, or an exploding star.... or TARDIS Razz
Smoke grenades, makes a ton of the TNT exploding smoke effect, only the size of the individual burst things are smaller, can be crafted with dyes for colors.
Smaller ships should have faster acceleration rates on burners, but not in hyperdrive.
A space-y texture pack should be made/found so that the laser gun doesnt look out of place.(TBA)
Mining ships should be implimented for faster mining, and mining in space.
More guns.
There should be variances on the hover tank, such as a mortar tank, or an anti air tank.
Lightbulbs, because burning a piece of coal strapped to a stick isnt the best idea on a spaceship with limited air, and you might be tight on glowstone after making all those cruiser spaceship cores.
If the spaceship core takes 15+ hearts of damage, it should begin decreasing the ships speed, and should cause longer charge times for a FTL jump.
Stealth-Boy-like portable personal stealth devices should be available, so you can sneak into that top secret research facility.
Nuclear bombs, because missiles are awkward to fire straight down.
Trans server mail, because a ship might take a while to get word of the Romulan server breaking its promise to the admin

First off, sand hit by lasers should become glass
There is a major need for space age foods. I vote instant scrambled eggs and compressed boston creme pie :p
Animals should be able to come on ships, as a source of mobile food and other supplies.
Smaller ships should have faster acceleration rates on burners, but not in hyperdrive.
Ground turrets should be available and operated by NPCs.
A space-y texture pack should be made/found so that the laser gun doesnt look out of place.
Harvesters should be implimented for faster mining.
More guns.
Cloaking devices should be available, so that my frigate can sneak by the Buxville blockade and into their cargo ship loading area.
Miniature nukes should be available for carrying, so that I can pull a Jorge on the enemy's assault ship.
There should be variances on the hover tank, such as a mortar tank, or an anti air tank.
The jet planes should be able to carry 6 missiles not 4.
Lightbulbs, because burning a piece of coal strapped to a stick isnt the best idea on a spaceship with limited air.
Auto turrets, like in Portal, should be available, and they should kill everything except the person that placed them.
If the spaceship core takes 15+ hearts of damage, it should begin decreasing the ships speed.
Stealth-Boy-like portable stealth devices should be available.

Ok, so, anything struck out = gtfo. Italic = huh or maybe. Bold = idea with some merit to it.

Anyway, thats my summary of your summary. Others might have differing opnions and I may go into detail with them some other time.

Probably should add that to the list of weapons.

NO!
Flags, when first put up, has a GUI where you edit all the colours and then
when you exit the GUI, raises the flag to the highest spot directly above it,
and it is as thick as iron bars, and two blocks high and two blocks long.
Flags will probably be added, just not like
that.

That has some merit.
Tesla Coil, not like in IC, but a gun that uses batteries, and fires a
miniature lightning graphic, does 2 hearts and stuns for 1 second, activates
redstone, fifteen shots per battery, has a 3 second cooldown time.
Nope, not happening.

should suffice. I even have a wheat farm on my battle cruiser.

gravity manipulation drives.

Yes, one is being made. It's harder then you
think, to make it look like "Minecraft" and not
"Weirdcraft".

Use Glowstone, I do. I did put one torch in the
captain’s office, but that was for atmosphere.

Plus, on the food, I have designed and built the Cake-Class Farm Ship (named for Portal's famous cake meme) that are basically giant farms in a spaceship that is still small enough to fit in a hanger for refueling. It is made out of iron blocks, ever since you guys crushed my dreams of a wool fleet.

But what happens when your in a long, trans-galactic flight? You cant just stop, dock with the food ship, and get some grain. You need a fast and easy way to get food that you can do in a pinch. Also, not every frigate(My personal ship choice) will have one of these available, and when the frigate's food stores run out, there isnt enough room on it to have a farm large enough to sustain the 1-4 people on it.

Well then, your fleet, good sir, is poorly designed not to have a emergency food storage for that exact problem. Thank you for bring that up so I can put one in my dreadnought I'm REBUILDING, again after you guys crushed my dream of a wool fleet. You do learn from your mistakes. Right? RIGHT? RIGHT!?!?!

But sir, a wool fleet is a terrible idea, as flamethrowers are being added, and a single marine armed with one could destroy your whole fleet.

You do know flamethrowers don't work in space. There is a certain gas fire needs that space doesn't have... Uh... Uh.............. SPONGEBOB DON"T RUSH ME! Gee, some people are just rude. Uhhhhh....... OXYGEN! THATS IT!

If you need oxygen, we just go inside your ship and burn it there...... Unless your breathing something else.....

What about a missile rack, that holds a large number of missiles and can be rolled on tracks like a minecart

Oh hey speaking of that, I was thinking the other day thatby combining chests with iron we could create big metal containers 3 wide, 2 high and like 6-10 long, has the equivalent storage space of the chests that could be placed in the same area ( a 3x3x3 container is takes up 27 blocks, meaning 27 single chests, and would have the same storage space as the 27 single chests ). It would look more space-ey and being made of metal instead of wood, it would be more resistance.

Nukes are actually pretty safe, if you don't have them armed. Also, large chests can store 3456 chests inside themselves, so your point is invalid.

As cool as that would be, we do have to draw a line between what is nescessary and what is not to the function of this mod, or else it would never be complete as we'd simply just keep adding stuff that's not really important but that we want to make more "spacey".

Well, if you could make the missile rack movable, say, with wheels, then it would serve a use. Otherwise, a new chest would be almost useless, except for increased blast resistance and possibly space. Also, not sure if the chests keep their contents, but in the Zeppelin mod they do.

We'll probably have ginormous crates...

And missile racks will be part of the weapons systems - I think we've already said yes to misshiles...
