As I was playing Star Trek Online once, I encountered this.
Read the page and then overreact.

Agreed. I don't think that's anything to be scared of. Star Trek just has weaksauce weaponry.

Actually, I thought Macaroth? would react to this on... his way.
Most of this ships hull is as durable as the sun crusher and the only weak point is in front of the main weapon, which is, by the way, a massive antiproton gun capable of destroying a planet.
You know... oh, and looking at its size: It might be about the size of an Imperial Star Destroyer.

Yeah, but it uses the rule of cool. The station is an ancient relic the Klingons unearthed and refurbished.

Okay. You go make a fully featured MMO with excellent graphics from scratch and come up with close to 2 hundred missions. Then we'll see what's 'pathetic'.

The only way to have covered it would have been to buy a shitload of Deutronium, which is pretty damn expensive. I doubt the Klingon Empire would've authorized such an expenditure.

Couldn't they have had a shield generator at least to cover it? Optimised in a way that it shuts off while firing? (Think the holtzman shield flicker-fire system in Dune) That would have been PRACTICAL

Yes, because Sci fi is a genre known for practicability.

So, they've got a superweapon, yes? And this would make it indestructible, yes? And thus guarantee Klingon victory in all wars? And they wouldn't pay for it?

They found the superweapon drifting, from what I understand. They were TESTING it to see its capabilities before they would spend any money on fixing the damn thing up, come to think of it.

Hmm. OK. I wouldn't know, I don't play this game.

Yes indeed. I beat the entire campaign in one go last night, which was very nice. I've never managed to do it without losing on either Hoth, Bespin or Yavin 4 at least once.

Yavin's a tough one. Though I have to say Kashyyk Docks took the cake for me and my bro.

That's not too bad if you're good as a sniper. It's harder as the Republic, though. I prefer Rebels.
