He could use the movecraft Plugin. But because of the update system it would look ugly.
Also an Possibility would be to use Redpower but this would ve a lot work and limits the move range(well i think it does but I am aNoob in this)

The point is, there are no mods that can satisfactorily do what Futurecraft will do, and even if there were, using something else and trying to pass it off as Futurecraft is dishonest and will cause people misunderstandings. It's not going to happen.
