 New Imperial Server?

I am thinking of making a new server! With some help (And manual labor) I may be able to get a new Imperial server going. I will have about 20 or so slots(Cheaper). But I will need Ops and admins, and maybe a donation box. No guarantees on ANY of this. If I do get a new server it will be a build serve. I do have all the schematics still, so that wont be a problem.

Also for under $20 a month(Last server was $37) I get this:Recommended for 1-32 Players.
1.45GB Dedicated RAM.
2GB Burst RAM.
SolusVM VPS Management Panel.
Dedicated IP - No typing ports.
100Mbit/s Uplink speed.
RAMDisk Powered.
Fully Managed - Free Mod & Plugin installation.
Includes Root & FTP Access.

And all admins/ops have to have training by me though

Tacoking, you may only need 10 or 15 slots really, not too many people got on the last one. Also are you going to make me an op again? I would appreciate it, and also when is that training session going to be?

Edit: See if Mackeroth got that map done, so you won't have to place all the ships in again with MCedit.

How to police the server in a correct, polite, and training would occur as soon as the "Possible" server starts. And learn
1st offense:Lecture and one Minecraft day in jail(must be there for the whole sentence for ALL jailtime)
2nd offense:kick and three Minecraft days in jail
3rd offense:Ban
4th:Ban IP(If they get a new account)

Isn't redstonehost a great deal? This is the same server I was looking at renting. I'll even split cost with you if we can reach an agreement (PM me if interested).

In other news, real world days should be used for jail sentences. Otherwise people will just go and do something else for a while.

Also, you should run it in multiverse with one normal world for bases and one superflat for huge ships. And world edit. Just a suggestion for maximum awesome.

And finally, I would be more than willing to op.

I am making a council of 5 admins that will train and decides who will be an moderator/op, Mackeroth? and Hyperlite I would of appreciate if you would join this council, and Avenger_7 I can pay for it, It is quite cheap.

Taco are you going to make it bukkit or Vanilla? I can help you out with that and getting plugins like worldguard to properly protect ships. Maybe we use bukkit but no permissions or essentials (not easy to set up) and then only have ops allowed to use worldguard to protect ships, users will just have to tell us when they want us to use it. Also keep it a regular world, not superflat.

Essentials is super easy. Also elevators. And skydragons. And chicken parachutes. And creativegates. There's also one that turns boats into Mario Karts.

Essentials is super easy. Also elevators. And skydragons. And chicken parachutes. And creativegates. There's also one that turns boats into Mario Karts.

In my personal opinion, Essentials and WorldEdit are the only two necessary plugins, and anything after that can just get redundant. My friends and I used to use god powers to hit each other with lightning bolts (good times) but it's pretty useless if you're running essentials. I also use MultiVerse2, just for some variety.

Also, @taco - up to you, but I'm mainly interested in making sure it stays running if you have to disappear again.

That's diddlysquat compared to a person whom tnt'd incessantly despite being asked to stop by the person whom's house was being destroyed by it, or the one who freely admitted to using hacks to give himself an unfair advantage, even going so far as to boast about how he'd done it before.

I left a faction that I didn't like the leader of. If that makes me a traitor, so be it, I'm garbage. But griefers and hackers are below even that, as they ruin the gameplay for everyone. The thought of people with those traits being given enhanced privileges is quite the scary one.
