We need this guy

This guy makes all these nice models, some for flans mods, and they look great. Maybe if someone could contact him (somebody who knows about models) that would be awesome. He already did a model for a starfighter and a lot of nice stuff. Look at this:

However he is very popular for his awesome models, so he may ignore some people. Maybe after we have something of our mod to show he will come here. Also I do not want to offend anyone here that models, this guy is too good not to show.

we don’t need him (Unless you plan to make all ships a model.) . First you have bigger tasks at hand. Concentrate on them and once completed decide your next tasks. Too many of them and you will end up with nothing.

He makes models using techne, which is something just about anyone can do. They're good, but anyone can make amzing models using techne but then someone also needs to code them. People, just get on techne and you can make models that are just as good.

This is a nice fighter thing he made, it is a content pack for flans mod in game.

Iv, during that screenshot I was looking down, so that is not the best picture, I just wanted to try and fly over an NPC village in a superflat world to get the picture. Also the fighter goes decently fast, and I have a laptop where I must press and Fn key and the F key to get a screenshot. Go and get an old version of forge and flans mod and try that out yourself. (note: You need forge 3.1.2 for flans to work correctly). Anyway, I don't want to offend anyone here, just saying this guys models really stuck out to me. Look at some of his models for tanks then look at flans. You will see what I mean.

Yea I see you look down, but the red part is still where the ship you chase will be. It is possible to shoot like that but you will find it damn annoying.

True that big green thing that is supposed to represent a heads up display isn't really necessary in minecraft.

I would like to see him do a model for our fighter.

Well he said today on that little website that he needed help with Java. So I sent him an email volunteering (guess who) to help him and to come to the forum and make a post and texture a fighter and futuristic tank for us. The only thing is frostbyte will have to help him with java (if he reads the thing.) If there is with helping him or me not asking and volunteering you to help him just tell me. I just figure the only way he will come here is if we do that. All you have to do frost, is listen to his ideas about java and what he wants to do, it may even benefit us with our mod. Keep an open mind about this guy, I think we could benefit a lot from him.

That's because of how Flan's mods use turbomodelthingy. Also, you can make MC models that don't use it using techne, its just that he makes them using the turbomodelthingy option. Also, techne makes it so awesome models are not difficult. I woudl bet every person here (or almost) could spend an hour to two hours on techne and make an amazing model.

I spent a while on it the other day. It was simple and easy, why does everyone hate on those things? If it makes a good model and is easy why not use it? I do not understand.
