 Fighter/small pod movement tilting

So obviously all the large ships will move in the way similar to ships in zepplin mod does.

However, if all the fighters moved the same way it would be a pain to have space dogfights. What im looking for is that at least small fighters, when piloted, will move similar to the planes in FLan's Mod. That way they can face up, down, angled, etc.

Fr0st has talked about this. Fighters are going to have 6 degrees of freedom, which I think means they'll be able to do even more stuff than Flan's planes.

a 6 degree angle isnt that much, so i think he means it will be able to move in almost all directions, including potential barrel rolls etc.

It means its possible to rotate and move on all axes in all cases no exception its rather impressive. Oh, and something about no gibble lock whatever that means. This leads to far more possibilities than just basic barrel rolls.

I understand that. I was trying to think of an easy to recognize things. 6-degrees similar to the 6 faces of a cube. This would be similar to how modern fighter jets turn. Instead of just turning on a plane, the rotate 90 degrees or so in the way they wish to turn, adn then pull up. This could be done at any angle, and i am going to build beautiful fighters for it.

As far as I know, every ship will have 6 degrees of freedom. But slower and with more momentum. So, fighting your enemies broadside while under them.

ARTIFICIAL GRAVITY IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT ALL THE OTHER SIDE EFFECTS!!! AND WHEN ENTERING A SERVER THERE WOULD STILL BE GRAVITY! Think about what happens on a plane when it goes into a downwards andgle, and why they land, take off, and fly for the most part at a level angle, or one that is too small to really notice.

true, but how would you feel if you go to unboard a ship after arriving on a server, and you didnt realize you were upside down and fall down.

true, but how would you feel if you go to unboard a ship after arriving on a server, and you didnt realize you were upside down and fall down.

Anybody who parks their ship upside down is an idiot, and they deserve to fall on their heads the moment they step outside.

Anyway, I thought that landing would be handled by the computer, so it can put you right-way up.

okayyy then. Time to get back on-topic.

I really like how all ships will have this 6 degrees of movement, but also, will there be a way for ships to be repaired after an epic battl and they crash into the ground, lying on their side? it would be really cool for things like that to happen.
