Sins of a Solar Empire ( and a bit of ME3 )

Ha, I just realized our game follows the Sins story line.

At first, there was very aggressive war, I tried to rush Tiel, which led to a series of confrontations between small fleets.


Then came the entrenchment, CMA, Jedi and I hid behind our powerful defenses to build our fleets and assess our ressources.


When that fails, we will need to move on to Diplomacy.

Starcraft, but the second one kinda killed it for me.
Warcraft, but I got bored of that one, the scales are too small. Supply limit of 90? That can't even compare to Sins' over 2000 supply.
Age of Empires, but I lost my CD / CD key.
Had a thing going with Warhammar but that got replaced by Sins. I find the two to be rather similar, like if Warhammer could almost be Sins' ground combat extension.

With CoH ??? There are no new ones released . The last one , Company of Heroes Online was very good . It was the same good old CoH but with the ability to level up and customize your character - from upgrading your skills in a tree instead of choosing mid game to special cards you could buy that give your troops different bonuses (8 slots in total, can be everything from HP bonus to your engineers to HMGs for your buildings... you had to buy new cards though as those were for limited amounts of games). Furthermore it was Free to play . Unfortunately but unsurprisingly THQ closed it as they lost money on it (In theory you had to spend real money on cards etc. but you could buy the same cards for ingame money quite easily so almost no one bought stuff with real money - the company missed big time and had to close the project. It was refreshing to have those RPG elements in the game - it made it more enjoyable even without the brits and panzer divs ...

I was just joshing, it's a good game. I just can't beat even the Easy AI at it.

You know, that isn't such a bad idea. Having a CoH match within this group, I mean.

OH! I have Age of Empires, Galatic Civ. II (Dreadlords), Spore (dose this count?), stronghold (have all of them), maybe another that I forgot about.

Tali's lock-in scene in ME2 is so sweet and funny. ME2 is the best game ever.

Also, working on an animation in 3ds Max with models I extracted from ME2.

Tried converting it using Obj2Mc, but it messed up the final product and it wasn't big enough to start with.

A bit. Never really got into it, liked toying with the modding tools more. In this case I 'ripped' the files for the Turian cruiser and imported them into MAX, but thus far navigating 2012 has been a pain in the arse. I miss 2010

Thought you could help me a bit with making some models for my mod. I can handle the scripting and actual modding in skyrim but when it comes to models I'm in a dead end. I searched for some help on the nexus forums (Skyrim's modding community) but to no use . If you want some detail I can PM you some ...

Today's my last Friday, after that I'll be enjoying the gain of some 20+ hours per week to do whatever I want or need to do.

Wish I had that time but after those holidays I have all the final Exams ... You know what’s even more annoying ? When I complete Math's 806 exam 807 awaits me next year ... same applies to almost every other stuff I learn .
