Palpatine's reign was about as effective as Stalin's. I do believe that was a metaphor on Lucas's part.

"A significant advantage of a one-party state is that it avoids all the arguments that delay progress in a democratic political system."

Thats a fact, not really a questionable statement...

Anarchist is just really really far libratarian.

, although usually I am less libertarian.

Actually according to their site, libratarian and the right are both anarchist. libratarian is social anarchy and the right is economic anarchy.

Here's mine.

As you see I don't give a damn about our society as here we accept basically anything and in the same time deny everything Razz . I believe that without some control of the country the economy will go nowhere good. No offense guys but America's economic future seems grim for the average worker ... Why have they actually classified it as "Neo-Liberalism" ? It should be "Capitalism" and not a social definition... actually did you know that the economic ideal is the exact middle between socialism (No not communism as it's a regime built to control people and not to help them) and capitalism ? Problem is to keep that balance.

Though I was classified as "left" I usually consider myself with the right , not yours though Razz . The graph again shows no opinion about global politics which define our left and right ...

Well communism isn't a economic system, so comparing it and capitalism really wouldn't make any sense. And socialism is the economic system within communism, not something separate.

Command economies and Communism go hand and hand, I've yet to see one without the other.

Socialism is from everyone by their ability , to everyone by their work. Means no abusing from corporations and stuff.
Communism is from everyone by their ability, to everyone by their need. Problem is the soviets think people don't need almost anything. It serves the regime.

The current term for socialism though talks about a support to the weak layers of our society such as free houses for homeless people or scholarships for students. This OFC requires money that comes from the taxes that tend to be high in those countries. If the country is socialistic but has low tax rates it will eventually fall like Greece which is a good example of those countries. The right balance between this social help and free market will help the economy grow by giving people both places to work in and social guarantees to unsure they have the opportunities they need to succeed in life.. Oh it will also add money to the country ... How beautiful it sounds on the paper isn't ?

although a lot of my opinions cancel each other out

and yes, I am an angry southern conservative, but just that, im not sure what It means to keon

but it was a joke, you think im crazy?

I am... but not for that...?

basically a roman catholic against the enviroment as a joke, socially rigid, IE I dont really care too much that the arabic wars are about oil, I care more that we are injecting our diseased culutre into others, not even in the name of democracy, whoich I dont liek, I prefere our system of republican moderated democracy.

abortion-murder

warfare- just war justifies nukes, only time any force,at all, should be used

religion- freedom of RELIGION (No cults/world domination plans)

economics-stay the hell out out of it, capitalism exists best when it is stayed away from, which I like, just not to the point of its encroachment on mainstream culuter (too much)

California should be set adrift (kidding... sort of)

STATES RIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTSSSSSS

nuclear power and oil are win x ∞

hates crimes should be abolished, isn't all crime based on hate?

did I forget anything?

Personally I prefer that Obama won't stay for another cadence as he hates Israel ... It's balanced by that small but influential Jewish 1% for now but if he wins he won't be able to return for another cadence and so he won't care about elections , won't give a damn about that tinny 1% and probably will be anti-Israeli as much as he can. I have no idea who's Romney in this question but I prefer Obama gone ...

Agreed. And if a country is anti-Israeli, that country isn't long for this world. Numbers 24:9 "Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you.”

Also, I would tirade about how any TRUE Muslim is made to attack the USA by their religion and that any Muslim that isn't planning to attack the USA is about as devoted to their faith as most of the USA is devoted to Christianity. But I will control myself.

I wont

ITS NOT A DAMN RELIGION, TEAR DOWN THE MOSQUES

honestly, has anyone here READ the koran? its a frikken world domination handbook, nothing spiritual about it except for the farce they say is God

it says (in different words that are quite clear)

"you must convert the infidel"

then:

"the infidels cannot be converted as allah has covered their eyes and ears to the truth"

PROBLEM???

edit: grammer?

JEDIT: Yes, problem. This is a thread for people to discuss their opinions, not a place for uncontrolled, racist flaming. I am leaving this post as it is, but I do not approve of this. Please do not insult others, especially others as a group.

The political compass is just a toy. If a single dimension is too limiting to describe relate all the nuances of political ideals, what are the chances you are doing appreciably better with two?

Oh, and Tiel. You're going to fix that avatar, right?

No, he doesn't approve of the huge one. Although come to think of it, he probably doesn't like this one much better.
