So I'm going to take green builders apart because no one has joined (I think).
If someone wants to take over greenbuilders say so if not the Doc will need to take GB off the list of the futurecraft allies.

Oh and one more thing I'm joining TELLrim inc. and now working on building the destiny. So if any one wants to help all put up the old server map I hosted back in november

BTW all that sir is bull**** that's only shown to recruits during their first training to give them some discipline. My father's officer once walked into their tent and said "guys our general is coming to visit so at least for one day hide the alcohol and stuff " (after the mandatory service each man in Israel is counted as reserves, passes refreshing courses each year and serves in different roles for up to 28 days a year, up to the age of 40. This means that the reserve's officer can't really threaten him so his only way to get things done is to keep interaction friendly)

They are merc as far as I know - getting payment for serving in the US army by contract (correct me if I'm wrong). In theory that means that your boss can fire you.

well, when you join the army its a bit like changing your citizenship (or losing it, depending how you look at it), the laws are completely different, and you cant just quit (theoretically that's a capitol offense)

its a cross between merc and volunteer, really, with drafts in times of crisis.

Another interesting story is that one of my father's comrades was such a heavy drinker that since he was enlisted he was never seen sober. When they were on guarding duty guarding terrorists in a prison he fell asleep and fell off his chair. The prisoners laughed at him so he shouted "WAIT TILL I GET YA!" , armed his M16 and my father's squad had to pull him out of that tower before he shoots those prisoners who pissed their pants and ran to hide in their tents. Since then he was guarding on the outer towers only.

My father was assigned to the Anti-Biological-Chemical unit ... quite a suicide unit the way he describes it as if there is a real chemical bomb out there they are probably dead... those costumes are simply not enough. As they are not considered as combat unit they are deployed for guarding duties in peaceful times - to guard some bases , prisons or settlements that have no special status.
In combat units things are quite different as all infantry units are trained as spec ops units . They have higher discipline , they are usually deployed to guard our borders and perform operations in Gaza and other places. They don't get this sort of problems.
There is another kind of a soldier - Specialists (that's what I want to do when I'm recruited in 2 years). The army finds talented students that have high grades and sponsor their studies in universities in different kinds of subjects the army needs. Once you complete your first degree and pass officer training you become a specialized soldier. The army assigns you to special High-tech units (Intelligence usually gets prioritised). You serve your mandatory 3 years as usual plus 3 years under a contract during which you get payment. You also get the rank of an officer as you complete this course which is very nice. Here you also get good discipline.

You'll need to have at least one jewish grandfather for that - by Israeli low those who are jews, their father is jew or their grandfather is jew (It was taken from the nazi law that says that each jew , who's father was jew or grandfather was jew has to be destroyed - one of the satisfying historical twists that just shout "in your face") can immigrate to Israel and receive Israeli citizenship immediately. If you don't have one of those you probably won't be able to get citizenship ... I think you can "volunteer" here if you really really really want to.
Though I think you missed the best part in mandatory armed service already - the GADNA week. It's like getting a taste what army is - for a week me and my classmates passed some sort of speeded up military training in one of the 3 special GADNA bases - we were stationed at Zalmon Base . We passed all that "Sir" bull****, ran with radios on our backs, slept in military sleeping bags outside of the base (navigation day - it is as it sounds ). OFC two people patrolled the perimeter and they were replaced each 20 minutes . You ran in military uniform, learned to hide and sneak, hold your weapon, break it apart and then collect it again. I even shot with one of those old terrible m16s . I hit half of my bullets even though the weapon Jammed 3 times. This weapon probably served like 30 years and eventually got to our training camp. The new Israel Tabor 21 assault rifles are much better . The best part is that you do it with your friends .

actually sounds kinda fun, lol, and you must have an original M16 from the Vietnam era, those things sucked.
