Subject: Hide n' Seek Wed Mar 14, 2012 8:27 pm
I went somewhere and my wireless mouse died on the way, so I put my laptop and said peripheral in the trunk. I went back and started to pick it back up, but I nudged the mouse somewhere and I can't seem to find it, even after lifting up the seats and checking every nook and cranny. Now I'm home again with a fresh supply of AA batteries, but no mouse. Is it possible to use the nano receiver still plugged into my computer to find it?
I googled but couldn't find anything on the subject. Sorry if I'm being dumb and the connection is only one way, but it seems possible that the receiver could ping the mouse and a program could utilize said process. I may be grasping at air, but I doubt I'll be able to go back out any time soon and I really want to finish Half Life.

I nudged it inward when it was in the trunk, so by all logic it'd be in there. One of my cousins might've knocked it out when they got out, but that was a ways from here and I refuse to accept that I'll be without a mouse until I get back here.

I'm stewing at the only licensed driver in this house right now for 'borrowing' money from me so going anywhere to get a mouse isn't exactly an option

I know a fair bit about radio devices (technician class amateur(HAM) radio license )
the word receiver means it's one way, same with transmitter, a two way (well, not two way, able to transmit and recieve) radio is called a tranciever.
