 Futurecraft Tech Tree

Hey Shiva, I'm new, but I'll get to the point...
I noticed your idea of tech trees to enforce upon the role-playing part of these forums, so I'm going to put this out there. Is there some way that you guys may be able to employ a tech tree kind of deal in Minecraft in which you have to have certain tools or resources so you can advance to the next "age" and gather better resources. Multiple planets would also be nice and I do like the idea of inter server travel. Thanks for hearing me out  Smile

If you look at the age of the topic, you may notice noone was associating the term 'tech tree' with 'roleplay'.
Shiva stopped paying attention to Futurecraft at some point and was never seen again.
And yes, we have a quite good idea of a tech tree.
Actually, it will propably be more of a tech web.
Multiple planets will also be a thing, considering that we have a server be a system.
It is unlikely that the tech tree will have 'ages', but at some point you may find it difficult to go to space (age) without basic chemistry...

Okay...thanks for responding so promptly. I'll admit that it was a noob idea, but I had no idea how old this post was...to be honest, I expected a lot more people to post ideas before me. I do like the idea of the whole concept of future craft...in fact I'm looking quite forward to the inter-server travel feature...I have some beef to settle with a faction and what better way to do it than to tow in a fleet of ships, burn their base to the ground, kill all of them with futuristic weapons and then take their stuff  Twisted Evil .

We're not really using this forum much anymore, go to fc-mod.com and make an account there. It's got 100% less Dysentery!
