Disney has appointed a committee to go through the EU and remove stuff. There will no longer be levels of canon; only real and not real. I approve of the removal of the levels of canon thing, although I don't know how they plan to deal with contradictions in canon now. They're bloody stupid if they think they'll be able to prevent them from this point forwards. It remains to be seen exactly how much stuff they're going to kill. Leeland Chee is on the committee, so maybe he'll try to limit it, but I think it's a reasonable bet that they're going to absolutely destroy something that I have spent tens of thousands of hours enjoying and learning about, and I don't really know how to react to that.

Rebel. It's your cannon, I don't see how disney can change it.

You know, I was thinking we should have a 3D crafting grid for complex recipes, but Kielaran is right: why have three dimensions when you can have six? Truly I don't know how we ever got by with a measly two.

Now, if Fr0stbyte wrote that, someone would make a sig, guaranteed. So what are you going to do now?

Sucks when a company decided to knock canon. Capcom did it to megaman by making X6 without Inafune's permission, so instead of a series about the elf wars and an improved Zero series, we got X6 and X7, both notoriously shite. I wouldn't get your hopes up. Unless the get Speilberg in like they were supposed to with Ep6.

I feel like completely ignoring Disney and publicly contradicting them (loudly) will work. Disney is irrelevant.

That was an opinion column. That particular author is an anus, not Ars Technica as a whole.
