Ah this game is so bad that you should avoid it and save your money for Garbage Truck simulator 2013 !

Couse yea I don't have complaints about that one Razz

What else ... humm ... FIRST !
Also Hannibal will come from below, everyone knows it !

Finally the main problem that I hope they address is that late game you fight about 4 big fights a turn in average if not more so progress becomes quite a pain there ... And for god's sake don't limit the campaign time couse I like that basically sandbox-like mode.

Haha, you had me going there for a second.

I'm happy it doesn't seem to be falling into the pit CoH II did.

Really ? SO were we supposed to save our money for garbage truck simulator after all ? What went wrong ? And I mean how could it possibly go wrong ? You can make some flops with new ideas but the core of the game is old tested and didn't change since the beginning of the Total War franchise.

If it was THAT of a flop oh well ... HOMEWORLD 3 CONFIRMED !

The pathfinding is terrible, I have squads of triarii just randomly debarking the main group and going on adventures when ordered around.

The fps is terrible even at the lowest graphical settings (which look scarcely better than RTW's) with random slowdowns here and there.

They completely redesigned the macro phase of the game, so now your ARMIES are recruiting ARMIES..

Also keep in mind my toe is now bleeding profusely and these are all problems associated with a release, so maybe I'll come to you tomorrow singing the praises of CA. Who knows.

Right now I'm just annoyed I can't play properly with my exceeding-minimum-requirements specifications.

But, I dunno. The craptacular support for AMD processors (why I get these bloody random FPS slowdowns everywhere) notwithstanding, it's a pretty good improvement over the base game overall. It's hardly revolutionary for a Total War title, where combat is basically "make your cavalry as invisible as possible", but everything else is great. They went back and redesigned the units for historical accuracy, and let me tell you, the models are absolutely gorgeous when you're not dropping to 5 fps here and there.

If there's one thing I'd like to do in life after playing TW: Rome II it'd be to sit down and talk with CA's modelling lead on this project to pick up some pointers.
