Today I woke up, got on my computer, and after a very annoying Steam group chat, I went to Google and decided to check on how the Halo: Homefront mod was doing like usual. But when I clicked on the link I was redirected to an ad site rather than the Halo: Homefront Moddb page. Finding that odd, I tried multiple times with other search queries. I decided then to find out if other people were having this problem. After a very difficult time, I ended upon the main methods of removal - and with my luck, non have worked - and have decided on my method of removal; I will backup will backup a select amount of files that I am near certain are safe on my then wiped external hdd, then reinstall windows. I will be gone for at least the rest of the day. This is not goodbye, but merely a new step forward. Into the brave new world I will taking with me game save files, some music which now is no longer available, and image files I have spent too much time on - all things not too easily replaced.
I have written this topic as merely a way to let everyone be in the know as I do not feel like explaining this to every single person as soon as the repercussions arise. I now close Opera to preform my tasks.
