I honestly cannot recall a time when Tau was a jackass about his apparently false beliefs. He was tenacious about them, but never did he attack anyone for expressing a dissenting opinion.

I don't think that constitutes jackassery. If anything insulting someone for standing up for what they believe in (eg: fakeTau) is the epitome of jackass in itself. Though I must admit the level of bullshit in this community has really rubbed me the wrong way, going to have to agree with Iv on that.
