| So, I've got this castle.   As you can see, it's pretty big, and I'm quite pleased with it. The castle was originally built around Beta 1.3_01, but I've kept it up to date with the newest ascetic blocks. The only problem is that, as you can see, it's pretty much just a giant courtyard. There's nothing in the middle, because I can't figure out quite what to put there. So that's the Castle Challenge - there are some pretty good builders on this forum, and whoever can build the coolest thing to put in the middle of the castle is the winner. Mods are optional. I'm mostly just looking for awesome-looking-ness. Consistency with the wall's building style would be nice but isn't required. At least vague historic accuracy is also nice but not required. The castle does not have to actually work as a fortification in Minecraft. As you can see, the wall is nice and tall but it's only one block thick and it's not spider-proof. The inner castle bit doesn't need to be, either. You can modify the wall/courtyard if you need to for your construction to fit. Some more pictures!    And the world download: Castle

| I don't feel like it, the outer castle walls are just ... well boring. They don't look good, rather simple (I mean they are not ugly but have nothing good looking in em). It's impossible to build in the same style as the outer wall because the outer wall simply has no style. | |
