| Title says it all. Post your ideals. Ideals can be like TV shows, video games or Forum members.
My ideal is Battlestar galactica and Laserbilly.

| Okay, i think this sounds cool but wouldn't really be feasible in future craft.
so you have a ship with a large conductive plate on it. the plate gets charge and will form an electrical arc. The ship must be insulated so as to avoid a back fire, so this wouldn't be a good idea to install on a big ship. A corvette would be best suited for this. The corvette flies close to the ship and the charged plate will cause an electrical arc to the enemy ship. This could be most effective if there is a breach in the ships hull. This would cause maximum damage to internal systems. you could guide the weapon with a cable if you have a specific target. Like a turret or something.

| My ideal is origional, but good quality, doesn't matter what shape or size.
And good luck trying to get a p.d. and a current across a vacuum, Richard, your idea could only work with the charged plate making contact with the enemy ship, however you could launch a grappling hook or something and transmit the current like that.

| leaves, cocoons, potatoes, arthropoda, large spikes. If I imagine it and I find it's elegant/awesome enough, I build it. Mistakes are also a large factor. I make a mistake, realize it looks pretty good, and revise it so it looks intentional. | |

| My own imagination. If I imagine something that would be cool, I build it.
Of course, when it comes to ships my imagination might be inspired by various stuff I see.

It would arc to the uninsulated enemy vessel. Only problem is, it will be very inaccurate, and will need a bunch of power. Not out of the realms of possibility. we have energy based weapons in after all. Someone should build a giant statue with a vacuum cleaner that sucks the air out of planets.

Do you mean a statue having a vacuum cleaner that sucks air out of planets, or a statue resembling a vacuum cleaner that sucks air out of planets?

Find some sick way to conjoin them=ships. Play Dariusburst I used to style ships like this but then I took an arrow to the knee found the style very hard to stick to when bulking anything longer than 200 blocks

| I have seen your Beluga ships.
On second thought, I think it's pretty obvious I try to incorporate some steampunk into my designs when I'm drawing them up, but they scarcely make it into the final product :C

It isn't. I would never have guessed that.

If it works, works well, works quickly, works efficiently, and works without exploding, it's done, no matter how ugly it looks. Just look at Project Blindside and you'll see my ethic in action.
