| 'Esh clicked his jaws and observed the scene, his lesser outer defensive systems were torn apart, but Tetra had done well in their placement. They weren't designed for this, a full military engagement, however they had stood this abuse and managed to force one of the assailants to retreat. Dead hulks of two repurposed cruisers, mostly cargo space, were sent adrift among smaller, weaponized ships. Rapidly solidifying rivers of titanium flowed from various mining facilities and destroyed turrets. A significant loss, but only a small portion of the whole. Most of the ships and personnel had been moved to the inner defensive sphere, hidden by dense asteroid fields. PACs and magnetic accelerators warmed within the sphere.
"Shall I target the attack fleet, sir?" Asked Keri.
"No. Wait until they're farther in, when they can't escape."
"Aye."
"Don't miss." | |

| Error tapped his controls, bringing the Skyranger to a rest on the skyhook. He ran down the ramp and towards the command center, ignoring anyone he saw.
::MEANWHILE:: the newly arrived T.F. cruiser Intrepid orbited in a geostationary orbit over the skyhook.

| OOC: @Fen, The same way Dithar Co. Still exists in this system. No one is very observant. | |

| OOC: @Shadowcat You DO Realize that Dithar Co. had HEAVY sanctions on it, by the government, to stop their trade? Actions were being taken against it when the storm hit. And they traded in legal, civilian weaponry, but they were selling some rather controversial stuff to people who later became mass-murderers, pirates, and other things.
YOU, on the other hand, appear to be an extremely wealthy corporation, dealing in arms of all kinds, with access to Top-Secret/Military weaponry (EMP Pulse Weaponry), access to BANNED weaponry (Spacemines), with NO government restrictions, NO crackdowns, NOTHING. You managed to secure a LARGE FLEET, sneak it in, and attack under the sensors of 75 seperate military ships, many of them with sensors specifically designed to detect ANY kinds of weaponry, and more than 100 DRADIS sensor stations. You managed to procure Military-Grade weaponry from no obvious source, without any punishment. All of this with NO government pressure, NO military interference, NO kinds of restrictions whatsoever. I revise my previous analogy. You're like the civilian who sneaks into Fort Knox unseen, took all the gold, then got out, and proceeded to use the death laser they happened to find in their house to destroy New York and hold the world hostage.
Until further notice, Shadow's company is completely banned from this RP until he can tone down his level of OPness.
Also, the Ionic Storm is in full effect. Nobody leaves, nobody gets here.

| OOC: Since what century are EMPs secret? They have been in existance since the 20th century. And spacemines wouldnt be that hard to produce. | |

| Wait... The storm has already struck?
BIC (kindof. Like that twilight phase where I'm not really in TPPOV narration and not really speaking OOC): Heavy sanctions have been in place since just before the old governor "left" office *cough* (okay, he stepped down willingly, Dithar didn't have much to do with it. Unnecessary cough and quotation.) Fenway had been laying them on harder than ever, forcing the company to take action, the sabatage . Then the rebellion started and Dithar was pressed heavily on both sides, but the new profit outweighed the new military threat. It supplied much of the rebellion's weaponry, but always kept the goodies to itself.

| OOC: Storm now in full effect. At the start, only earth was hit. Then communications took a hit. Now travel as well. Note that the military got here before either arrived. | |

| OOC: Well duh... Lambda Leonis is 314 Light YEARS from earth. If it didn't travel FTL, it would never arrive during the course of any lifetimes in the RP. Sorry for the confusion of everything, and all. | |

I imagined it as two intersecting planes, the ion storm as blanket covering the systems at a very shallow angle. Then we don't have to break physics.
