PostSubject: Futurecraft Ship Battles and Universe   Sat Oct 27, 2012 12:58 pm

Discuss here how ship battles in futurecraft might take place and how the universe would probably playout.

Most likely the universe would roll out in two possible ways 1. Build, Collapse, Build, Collapse. Or Faction Dead Zone.
In Build, Collapse factions would start out small then build up for a while going thorugh wars destroying and merging other factions till you acheive only a bunch of large factions which eventually collapse due to be too unstable, Thus causing the process to repeat again.

In FDZ the factions would countine to build up and destroy other factions till etheir a few gigantic factions remain or only one singular faction, This would result in a longperiod of stalemate between factions. Till again Collapse.

Ships battles would probably be fast short skirmishs where the other side etheir retreats or is destroyed with fairly weak ships or fighters from small factions.
Whereas larger factions capible of producing a deceant size fleet would probably have more prolonged battles as they would be bale to afford sheilds and weapons of a highe power.

This is my vision of this topic. I thought a lot about different aspects of the game, the fact that without teaming up there is no way you can play it and that not everyone will be able to team up. Teaming up is still possible and still has emphasis in the game but by actually scaling the battles down in my model being alone is not a death sentence now.
