So that's why my ships called in sick...

It happened in Stargate once. A Wraith ship got something similar to cancer and died.
I hope the Doctor´s Tardis doesn´t get malaria one time.

The TARDIS isn't a bioship.

Nope, just a very advanced vessel that seems to be able to cross the 7th dimension

It is a sentinent being.
a TARDIS doesn´t get built, it gets breeded.
->bioship

Technically on topic we were talking about what the tardis is like.

self sentient doesn't mean it has to be biological, and the TARDIS is waaaay more advanced than bioships (which are meant to be really advanced)

Well, okay, the Tardis isn´t a bioship on second thought.
The sentinent part is the core (high energy being, so not biological either) which allows for interdimensional, temporal and instant warp as well as the "bigger on the inside"-effect, while most of the rest is somewhat mechanical or similar.

If you've ever played earthbound, think of the core as similar to giygas (just not evil, and twice as weird)

The TARDIS is not made its grown, more like a space monkey.

Sig'd

You didn´t sig it. Your sig is some... randomness.

Also, this has turned into a terrible killing field of off-topicness.
I suggest someone soon get back on-topic before the mods lock this.

Yes, BIOSHIPS! I think they should be mechanical beings instead of beings that are mechanical, if they are added.

Care to explain what the difference between mechenical beings and beings that are mechanical is?

A mechanical being would be nonorganic, but still be considered life as it can reproduce, grow, self-repair, and such. A being that is mechanical (or an organic machine, as I should have said) is organic life configured in such a way that it serves a purpose to its builders that would usually be fulfilled by a machine.

Then I would prefer to call you being that is mechanical a biobot.

My dad is obsessed with Apple, so that is reflected by my technology being all Apple products. Not my fault.
