But Steam is also half social application in addition to its game functionality, so you should be able friend people stfufuzzycat.

But we tried to trade before I got the game. That was why I got it in the first place.

No. That's what they're saying, is that the free games don't count.

Well, I did send the friend request, not ye, but I'm pretty sure the feature is available regardless of whether one has purchased any games or not.

TF2 is free. I can't friend peple, I know because I've tried. I'm also having problems where it takes like 10 minutes to log into a game, and then my conection times out. Does anyone know how to fix this, or is it just because my computer sucks (which it does).

I don't know about friending people. You should be able to, but if you can't, keep in mind that it costs 49 American cents to buy the game.

The server thing is just a thing. I don't know why it happens. It shouldn't happen more than once in a row.

I didn't have to pay for TF2. I hope the server thing is temporary.

I know you don't have to, but if you do it might solve your friending problem.

Speaking of which, I've got several new Scout items, Tiel. I've got 2 different bats and a brand-new Strange Scattergun. I'd trade for them if you're interested.

You just have to put some money into the game. Buying something from the store is the simplest way. So really, it doesn't cost anything at all, because you get the item you bought.
