not really, but it is Morrowind that I think was the best. Partially because of the well balanced loot system, partially because of the landscape, partially because it didn't have fast travel  . No really haven't you spent like a hour looting Balmora, all the random crates in there and selling it to the vendors for your first few thousands ? You really tried to buy powerful equipment because unlike in the following instalments the enemies weren't levelled and so was the loot. There were places too hard for you early on but as you gathered loot you became more powerful and could access new areas. This vital component in the RPG scheme Bethesda removed in the next instalments which damaged the experience for me. | |
