| I was wondering who would win, the Star Wars Empire, or the Warhammer 40k Imperium of Man?
Let's say in both a battle of fleets of equal tonnage and in an all-out war.
Has this already been discussed?

Ah, the pleasure of seeing morons throw about super weapons like candy and conveniently forgetting any cost or limit associated with said super weapons.

| I guess it's balanced when the game's villain is defeatable yet powerful enough to challenge . Best way to check it out is to make an ultimate RTS with all of them. The Freespace homeworld mod is well balanced with the original in-game factions and serves a good example ... everyone has advantages and disadvantages. When I saw how easily my GTD Orion Class Destroyer cut in pieces a Hiigaran battlecruiser I let my guard down which resulted in the destruction of my other Orion Class Destroyer by two other battlecruisers , which had 10,000 lives on board. Turned out the cost and time it takes me to produce one Orion Destroyer is bigger than the battlecruiser, meaning he had much more of them. They are also much more mobile and can strike unexpectedly. On the other side in 1v1 my cap-ships win most battles . Anyway if it is ever going to happen I'm taking on you Pat with my Freespace fleet . | |

| Which Empire? Sidious's, Revan's, Malgus's, Krayt's, Naga Sadow's, the Great Galactic War one, or the Brotherhood of Darkness? Those are the Sith Empires. There's also Xim's Empire, the Rakatan Infinite Empire, the Empire of the Hand, the Fel Empire, and a bunch of others. I'm guessing you mean Sidious's, as that's the only one a lot of you have ever heard of. | |

Does each of those empires has a Star Wars movie ? They know there is such a thing as overuse right ?

oooooo nerd burn. It's called novel's. I know the Youth today has never heard of these forms of LIT-ER-A-TURE, but they're an ancient form of entertainment used by your forefathers in place of CGI space ships and piss poor prequels.

*They're called novels Sorry. That bugs me. And no, none of the others have had movies. Several of them have had video games, some others have had comic books, and the rest are novels. I forgot the Sith Triumvirate and the Mandalorian Empire.

| And yes, Star Wars is notorious for plot overuse.
Every single era has the exact same elements. Some evil Empire.
Hell, the entirety of the Infinities timeline is a complete repeat of the trilogy!

Hell, the entirety of the Infinities timeline is a complete repeat of the trilogy! Uhh. The Infinities is an alternative history of the Galactic Civil War. Of course it has similarities (It's the same characters, at the same time, in the same place...), but it's not the same story. It's also not canon.

Or Infinity. Idk. It follows the story of Skywalker's son's son's son and is basically the exact same thing as the GCW with some Old Republic Jedi thrown in (that are for some reason still alive..?)

I am offended. I actually like reading books, they are very entertaining. I'd be sorry I offended you if I intended it as an offence to those who read. The last part of that comment ("in place of CGI space ships and piss poor prequels") was a jab at people who only watch movies and do not actually understand the lore behind anything that hollywood produces. I agree about books, though I've shifted from hardbacks to using digital books, however, I do have a few hardbacks still laying around. - Commander Trauma wrote:

| Seems odd that you would comment on the part of the sentence which was correct, while missing the lack of subject. | |
