I've said before that techne was too limited to make detailed models for Futurecraft, and that there would be support for importing models from other 3D programs, but no one seemed interested in learning Blender or Maya or the like.

But here's a new one, much more minecraft-like in nature, and I am curious what people think of it.

So try out the demo.
If there is a real interest, I 'll probably buy a copy for developers to use.

This seems more like an RPG VX type deal if anything.

...but I <3 RPG VX. It seems they only just worked out how to export into Minecraft, though.

Is it built in program or is it an importer because I just downloaded two different OBJ importers with similar abilities (although it appears this one has an animate button)

Edit: this is the abilities of one of the other ones...

I thought AT-ATs were much larger. ill re-watch star wars later. and perhaps i'll model something in the demo later as well.

Judging by the trees, I guesstimated the height to be 20 blocks. An AT-AT should be 22.5 blocks tall, so I'd bet that my guess was a little short and it's the right height.

Ive been dorking around in craftstudio and came up with a possible stun gun model.
Spoiler:

I thought yellow and black would be a cool stun gun color. Though since its kinda flashy i might change it

For ~15 minutes of work on a program I've never used I think this is an acceptable turret. (Nope. it's 100% horrible.)

Nah, it's fine. A turret like that will cause our enemies to go blind!
