Because I'm leading CHANGE. We need CHANGE in this forum. And I'm starting that CHANGE, whether you like it or not. So please, go ponder this before I ban you with my super secret undercover mod powers.

I'm giving you an official warning, Tiel and/or Cool 3303. Threats are not to be tolerated, serious or minor.

Next time won't be so friendly.

Wat.

I threatened to ban someone with powers everyone knows I don't have in a post clearly in a joking context. I'm not sure I see the problem here.

The problem is that everyone on this forum attracts drama like a giant nuclear powered drama magnet and pretty much anything said even slightly hinting towards anything someone doesn't like will lead to internwebs war, someone getting a ban and the penguins being one step closer to conquering the planet.

Pat, that was the most true statement about us that I have ever seen, I usually try to instigate arguments too.

Hardly. I frequent many internet forums and none attract drama like this one. You people just seem to spontaneously radiate the stuff.

Age has nothing to do with it. The problem is that everyone here is (mostly) very intellegent, and are the kind of people who are.. well.. know-it-alls.

True, most places on the internet don't argue for 20 pages over politics, and religion, and life like we do, but when we have a person that says something wrong, we like to immediately correct them and prove them wrong as fast s we can.

You're wrong ! I must correct it Smile .

No srsly there are many places where people argue about politics because forums can mimic real conversations, and a very popular topic in all possible cultures is politics. It can develop an interesting discussion , especially with people from different countries in the world if everyone knows how to behave himself and generally avoid making bold comments or reply to them. There are actually whole forums dedicated to it. If you practice patience towards other's opinion , reply to them professionally without making personal comments you might just enjoy those conversations.
